BIOLOGICAL FILTRATION SYSTEM
Biological filter is the core equipment of aquaculture. In the case that the total circulating water volume is fixed, but the total amount of nitrogen input is constantly increasing, under the action of organisms, these nitrogenous substances would be converted into ammonia or nitrite dissolved in water. The continuous accumulating of these substances will cause the organisms poisoning. Therefore, these nitrogenous substances must be converted into non-toxic substances in water by the cultivation of biochemical bacteria through the filtration media, but it requires pretreatment, sand filter, protein skimmer can be used as the pretreatment equipment.
BIOLOGICAL FILTER
Biological filter is a natural filtering system consisting of beneficial bacteria that, through a cycling process, convert pollutants in water to harmless nitrate. Its delicate design keeps the water flow within a certain range and ensures that the biofilm can be attached to the filter medial as soon as possible, to achieve the best filtration performance with the whole water treatment system.
Biological filter tank (Biochemical tank) is not recommended to used with the ozone generator, but can be preinstalled with UV sterilizer.
